19-21 (Friday - Sunday) - Pocono Environmental Education Center, Dingman's

will travel up to Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) and arrive for
dinner around 6. There can be a social hour which would require you to BYOB

<p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>Birding
will begin on Saturday and we will bird all day. Looking for fall warblers and
even taking a trip over to Sunrise Mountain for observing migrating raptors. We
will have all of our meals at PEEC's new environmentally friendly dining hall.
Sunday will consist of birding all morning then coming back for lunch and
checkout. There is a charge for the event and will be around $90 a person,
which will include 6 meals and two nights lodging on PEEC's campus.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

telemetry studies of northern saw-whet owls migrating through central
Pennsylvania. Successful candidate will work with field crews mist-netting,
banding and processing migrant owls; with telemetry crews conducting daytime
surveys of roost locations; and with research technician to conduct nighttime
monitoring of tagged owls to determine activity ranges.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class=MsoPlainText><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>Excellent
opportunity to work with a large volunteer corps with varied natural resource
backgrounds. Banding sites are in Schuylkill, Dauphin and Cumberland counties.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
