[DVOC] Rare Bird Alert - Long-Billed Murrelet

A Long-billed Murrelet is being seen at Lake Nockamixon, PA (Bucks County)
 
This was just posted on NJ RareBirds
 

"Paul Lehman just called (he's on the road from the airport to Cape May) and
asked me (Laurie Larsen)to post this:
At about 10 AM Jason Horn found a LONG-BILLED MURRELET on Lake Nockamixon in
Bucks County. The bird was on the north side of the lake at the Fishing
Pier, which is the next access west of the Marina.

Note that I didn't talk to Jason directly and this is all the information I
have; I'm sure the PA web sites and mailing lists will carry updates as soon
as available.

The web page of Lake Nockamixon State Park gives the following
directions:Nockamixon State Park is along PA 563, just off of PA 313, five
miles east of Quakertown and nine miles west of Doylestown. The main
entrances are along PA 563 and can be reached from PA 309 and PA 313, or
from the north on PA 412."
